Job Title : Media and Communications Executive: Duty Station: Kampala & Entebbe
JOB ROLE
You will have the overall responsibility to develop, implement, track and optimize our client’s digital marketing activities across the mandated digital channels.
You will be tasked with driving sales across various social media platforms and directing traffic to our business in order to hit sales targets.Working directly with our client, you will have the responsibility to establish a very good understanding of our client’s business goals and then execute the mandated digital marketing activities to meet these objectives.You will have the responsibility to identify and ensure that appropriate resources are available to assist in the successful execution of the work plan, and then measure, assess and report the results of the activities against the goals of the engagement.
You are accountable to keep abreast of new and emerging opportunities for digital marketing and continually evolve the company’s digital marketing practices to ensure the organization is continuously improving in this area.
Create a Communication Strategy for the Internal Organization
Develop the Inhouse Magazine
Manage the Social Media Platforms for our client
Handle the CSR Initiatives + Employee Engagement Initiatives such as Sports events etc
Skills / Experience:
Bachelors in Mass Communication
Skilled in Word, Excel
Bonus if they have editorial skills
At least 3 years of sales & marketing experience in handling social media engagements and driving sales through social media platforms.
Competence in graphics & design is highly desired.
At least 1 year of experience in direct sales.
